Family here at the basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr
and its web site on the Internet. St. Stanislaus is an active parish
community founded in 1891; that is, ministered by the Conventual
Franciscan Friars of the Province of St. Anthony of Padua, the Franciscan
Missionary Sisters of Assisi; and the Franciscan Sisters of St.
7, 1991 during our parish's centennial celebrations, Pope John Paul
II raised the status of our church to a "minor basilica".
The word basilica comes from the Greek words "royal house".
It is our hope that
you come to visit our "royal house" of God. Come and experience
the warmth and hospitality of our Parish Family. There is a Polish
saying: "Gosc w domu, Bog w domu" which means: "A
guest in the house is God in the house." Please browse through
